BBC Jazz-award-winning pianist Neil Cowley takes to the Grand Junction stage to celebrate the launch of his new album, Battery Life – to be released on 24 March 2023.

Since disbanding his eponymous trio and becoming a solo artist in 2018, Cowley introduces ambient, electronic and neoclassical music elements into his sound, establishing himself as an esteemed pianist, composer and producer.

In 2021, Cowley released his first solo album Hall of Mirrors, which features piano arrangements filtered through a prism of production tricks. The album received support from Clash, Mojo and Uncut, and radio plays from BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 3. Cowley has recently announced his newest follow-up album Battery Life.

With a unique visual backdrop of vintage TV sets, Cowley inhabits his personal musical playspace on stage surrounded by keyboards and electronics, in a captivating display of artistry and showmanship. We can’t wait to see Cowley takeover our atmospheric nave.

General admission tickets: The concert will have unreserved seating/standing areas. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
